- Filled out and signed registration paperwork to included bill of sale, market animal record, and proof of educational requirement completion. Due at Pre Fair.
- Replacement animals must be weighed at the designated replacement weigh-in day. Check with your species superintendent for the replacement weigh-in date and time.
- All Exhibitors must participate in the Josephine County Fair Market Show and your club’s Showmanship Class with his/her own animal in order to sell at the Livestock Auction.
- All species must follow requirements in Josephine County Youth Livestock Auction Manual.
- All participants will adhere to an appropriate standard of conduct. Failure to act appropriately may lead to disqualification by the auction committee resulting in the removal of your project from the fairgrounds. Expected conduct included:
- All sellers must personally take their animal through the Auction Ring.
- All sellers must abide by all Livestock Auctions rules as listed in the Josephine County Youth Livestock Auction Manual.
- If an exhibitor is unable to adhere to the Livestock Auction rules for any reason, they should submit their requests to their superintendent who will bring the request to the Auction Committee.
- The Auction committee reserves the right to grant sale eligibility under special circumstances to exhibitors not meeting sale requirements.
- Seller acknowledges that checks will not be ready at the time of sale, and seller acknowledges that they payment process takes some time, and check will be ready by October 1st after the Auction.
- I recognize and acknowledge that the Auction Committee/Fairgrounds photographer may record my participation and appearance in and on the grounds on any recorded medium, including, but not limited to, video, audio, photos for use in any form, (including but not limited to print, websites, blogs, internet, social media). I authorize such recording and release Fairgrounds to use my name, likeness, voice, and biographical material to exhibit or distribute such recordings in whole or in part without restrictions or limitations for any education or promotional purpose.
