Fair Class Participant Terms and Conditions
By registering for and participating in any class, workshop, or event (“Class”) hosted at the Josephine County Fairgrounds & Event Center, you (“Participant”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Assumption of Risk
Participant understands and acknowledges that participation in Classes may involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, or property damage. Participant voluntarily assumes all such risks associated with participation.
2. Release of Liability
Participant hereby waives, releases, and discharges the Josephine County Fairgrounds & Event Center, its employees, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, or causes of action whatsoever, including those arising from negligence, which may arise from or be related to any injury, loss, or damage to person or property incurred while participating in a Class.
3. Medical Treatment
In the event of an emergency, Participant authorizes the Josephine County Fairgrounds & Event Center to secure from any licensed hospital, physician, or medical personnel any treatment deemed necessary for Participant’s immediate care, and agrees that Participant will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered.
4. Code of Conduct
Participants agree to treat all instructors, staff, fellow participants, and property with respect. Any behavior deemed disruptive or unsafe may result in removal from the Class without refund.
5. Media Release
Unless otherwise requested in writing, Participant grants permission to the Josephine County Fairgrounds to use photographs or video footage taken during the Class for promotional purposes, including social media and website content.
6. Cancellation Policy
Class fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. If the Fairgrounds cancels the Class, a full refund or transfer to a future session will be offered
