How much does it cost to attend the Fair?
Gate Admission - FREE EVERY DAY FOR EVERYONE

VIP - $30.00 if available

How do I get to the Josephine County Fair?
Traveling I-5N: Take Exit 55 US-199/Redwood Hwy towards Ocean Beach/Crescent City - 0.3 mi, Continue onto US-199 S/Redwood Hwy - 3.1mi, turn right onto Fairgrounds Rd - 108 ft, Office is located to the right of the entrance.
Traveling I-5S: Take Exit 58 OR-99 S/NW 6th St toward US-199/Redwood Hwy/Grants Pass/City Center - 2.8 mi, keep right to continue on 6th St - 0.2 mi, turn right onto US-199 s - 0.6 mi, turn right onto Fairgrounds Rd - 108 ft, Office is located on your right.
Public parking $10 each car, west of Fairgrounds and is a fundraiser for the Kiwanis PNW
Flying Lark & YMCA lots, Enter Through the Allen Creek Entrance - Exit Only Behind the YMCA.
NO RV Parking or Oversized Parking Allowed in Public Parking Area
Handicap Parking is directly behind the grandstands, Placard required
VIP Parking available $15 each car
Where is the handicap-access parking?
Handicap access to the Fairgrounds is available from the Allen Creek Entrance with placard. Once paid you will be directed to designated parking areas behind the Grandstands. Golf cart drivers will be available to bring people on into the fair.
Can I rent wheelchairs?
Yes, we have a limited number of wheelchairs available for free. Inquire at Fairgrounds Office for more information and details.
What does the carnival cost?
Pre-Sale Discounted Arm Bands for 1 day unlimited use available for $30 until August 6, 2024 11:59pm. $45 at the Fair!
Single Tickets and Sheets of Tickets are available for purchase during fair at Carnival tickets booths.
How tall do you have to be to ride the Carnival rides?
Extreme Rides Must be over 42” - 52" tall. Some 3" with adult.** Some Rides Must be 48" to Ride Alone
There are several height limits. Many rides are available for people more than 42" tall BUT most of the rides that involve extreme movement such as spinning or going upside down are limited to people 48" tall and up.
In general, children under 36" can't ride anything but the carousel (with an adult) or the Kiddie Rides (can ride alone).
If you aren't sure, the best thing to do before buying wrist bands is to walk around and look at the rides you or your children want to ride and see if it is possible. No refunds will be issued.
Do you take checks or credit cards at the gate or carnival?
Fair admission is FREE! The Carnival is credit cards or cash. The Josephine County Fair office accepts Cash, Debit, Visa, Mastercard. Office hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm only. ATM machines are also located at the front of the office (year-round),
Can I smoke on the Fairgrounds?
Smoking of any sort is prohibited in buildings per state law. Smoking includes e-cigarettes, vapor cigarettes, joints, cigarettes, pipes, cigars etc. There will be a couple of designated smoking areas that that will be clearly marked.
Please note, consumption of cannabis in any form in public is illegal and not allowed on County property including the parking lot.
What other rules are there for the Fairgrounds?
No coolers will be allowed.
No skateboarding, bicycle, rollerblades, and scooters.
Zero Tolerance - you will be asked to leave immediately for the following reasons, including, but not limited to:
Fighting or Disruptive Behaviors
Theft or Shoplifting
Drug Use
All posted rules must be followed.
